Australian Bush Comfort and Confidence (ABCC)

The Australian outdoors is a place full of wonder, beauty and adventure and comes with many physical  and mental health benefits. However not everyone feels comfortable stepping out of the city and into the bush, especially if they’ve never had anyone show them how to. Others may have gone on day trips  to national parks or local nature reserves and want to explore other experiences such as camping, but  don’t feel confident.  

Through our fun and hands-on workshop, we give participants the skills and confidence to help them enjoy Australia’s beautiful bushland whether it be a day trip or a camping trip. Topics covered include  bush safety and awareness, how to set up a tent and select a good camping site, how to light a campfire and what to be aware of in the bush such as fire danger and wildlife encounters.
